Day 1: Arrival at the aiport and transfer to Hotel
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your Kuzora Safari Tours guide will greet you and drive you to your accommodation in Entebbe for the night. The rest of the day is yours to relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, you will travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda's second-largest national park, which is located in the country's southwest. The park comprises around 1,978 square kilometers and is well-known for its different habitats, which include spreading grassland, dense forests, amazing lakes, and rich wetlands. You'll like the various landscapes, which range from rolling hills to tea plantations. When you arrive at the park, check into your lodge and relax. If time permits, you will have an evening game drive to explore the park's wildlife-rich sections. Look for elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, and other antelope species roaming freely over the savannah.
Day 3: Game Drives & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
After breakfast, you'll go on a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is known for its abundant wildlife. Early morning is the greatest time to watch predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas prey. As you explore the Kasenyi plains, you'll come across vast herds of buffalo, elephants, Ugandan kobs, and perhaps even the elusive leopard. The Kasenyi region is particularly recognized for its high concentration of kobs, which attract predators, making it one of the greatest places to see wildlife. In the afternoon, you will have a spectacular boat tour down the Kazinga Channel, a natural river that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This waterway is renowned for having the highest concentration of hippos in the world, but you may also witness crocodiles, elephants, and various antelope species as they drink along the banks. The Kazinga Channel is also a bird lover's delight, with over 600 species documented in the park, including African fish eagles, pelicans, kingfishers, and others. Following the cruise, take another evening wildlife drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Return to Entebbe via the Equator-End of trip
After an early breakfast, you'll start your journey back to Entebbe. On the route, you'll stop at the Uganda Equator, one of Uganda's most distinctive monuments, to take photos and see the famous water experiments illustrating the Coriolis effect. This is also an excellent destination for souvenir purchasing. After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll continue your journey back to Entebbe, arriving on time for your flight or another overnight stay (Extra Cost).
