Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your safari guide will welcome you and transfer you to the Protea Hotel for a night of rest and preparation. This will be a relaxing day to settle in after your journey. Accommodation: Protea Hotel Entebbe
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will be heading to Kibale Forest National Park with your packed lunch, which is renowned for having the greatest diversity of primates in East Africa. You will drive through small communities, tea plantations, and beautiful scenery. Get to Primate Lodge in time for dinner and a night stay. Accomodation: Primate Lodge
Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Wetland Walk
Following an early breakfast you will go out on an exciting chimpanzee tracking expedition in Kibale Forest. After giving you a briefing, a ranger will lead you on a search for chimpanzees around the forest. Once the chimpanzees are located, you will have a maximum of one hour with them. Take a guided nature walk in Bigodi Wetland in the afternoon, an ideal destination for birdwatchers with over 200 species of birds and lots of primates. Accomodation: Primate Lodge
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
In the morning, you will travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, which is home to more than half of the world's surviving mountain gorilla population. You will go via Queen Elizabeth National Park's Ishasha region en route, which is well-known for its lions that climb trees. After having lunch, go on to Bwindi, arriving in the evening.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Following an early breakfast, you'll get a briefing from park rangers before embarking on an amazing gorilla trekking excursion deep into the rainforest. After you find a family of gorillas, you will have no more than an hour to spend with these gentle giants in their natural environment. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation after the hike.
Day 6: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, you'll go to Lake Mburo National Park, a little treasure renowned for its wildlife and birdwatching opportunities. On arrival, you will check into your lodge and then depart for an afternoon boat excursion on Lake Mburo, where you may see a variety of water birds and hippos and other wildlife.
Day 7. Return to Entebbe via the Equator
After breakfast, head back to Entebbe for a picturesque drive. You can stop en route at the Uganda Equator for pictures and shopping for souvenirs. Learn about the customs and culture of the surrounding towns while having lunch at the Igongo Cultural Center. You'll reach Entebbe in the afternoon, just in time for your international flight or hotel transfer. .
