This 3-day birdwatching safari is a perfect experience for bird enthusiasts exploring Uganda's rich birdlife. Starting in Entebbe, you'll visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Center to view over 170 species of birds. The next day, explore Entebbe Botanical Gardens and then head to Mabamba Wetland, a famous spot for birding and home to the rare and elusive Shoebill Stork. Enjoy canoeing through the swamp and spotting numerous bird species, including papyrus specialists and wetland birds. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe & Birding at Uganda Wildlife Education Center
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Kuzora Safari Tours guide. They will transfer you to your hotel where you can freshen up and relax. In the afternoon, after lunch, you will visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Center (UWEC). This facility is home to a variety of captive animals and over 170 bird species. Here, you’ll spot some of the unique species, such as: Northern Masked Weaver Orange Weaver Kingfishers Sunbirds Spend the afternoon enjoying birdwatching as you explore the center, learning more about Uganda’s diverse birdlife. Later in the evening, you will return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Botanical Gardens & Birdwatching at Mabamba Wetland
After an early breakfast, your guide will take you to Entebbe Botanical Gardens for a morning birding experience. These gardens offer an excellent variety of bird species and are known for sightings such as: Bare-faced Go-away Bird, Grey Capped Warbler, Black Kite, Great Blue, Turaco Ross's Turaco
After spending time in the botanical gardens, you will head to Mabamba Swamp, a prime wetland for birdwatching in Uganda, particularly known for its population of Shoebill Storks. This endangered species can often be spotted at any time of the day. You’ll take a canoe trip through the swamp to get a closer view of this elusive bird, as well as other species like: Blue Swallow (migrant species), Papyrus Gonolek, Malachite Kingfisher, White-winged Warbler, Rufous-bellied Heron
Your guide will allow you to stop at any point during the drive to enjoy and photograph the various bird species you come across along the way. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Your Kuzora Safari Tours guide will pick you up and transfer you to Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight back home, marking the end of your 3-day birdwatching adventure in Uganda.
