Day 2

Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Rushaga Sector

After an early breakfast, transfer to the Uganda Wildlife Authority briefing point for registration and a pre-trek orientation conducted by experienced ranger guides.

You will then enter Bwindi's ancient rainforest in search of one of the habituated mountain gorilla families found within the Rushaga sector. Trekking duration varies depending on the gorillas' movements and the terrain encountered during the search.

Once the gorillas are located, you will spend the permitted viewing time observing their behavior, social interactions, and daily activities from a safe distance under ranger supervision.

After this remarkable wildlife encounter, return to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.
